Topic Multi-Employer Work Site
This course explains the Multi-Employer Work Sites policy related to employers and the hazards present in the workplace. Understanding how each employer is viewed against one of the four roles established, will assist in the elimination of hazards and protecting workers effectively.
- Define the Multi-Employer Work Sites policy and explain its purpose in workplace safety and compliance.
- Identify and describe the four employer roles (Creating, Exposing, Correcting, and Controlling employers) as established by the policy.
- Explain how each employer role is responsible for identifying, eliminating, or controlling hazards in the workplace.
- Apply the policy to real-world scenarios to determine employer responsibilities and appropriate actions for hazard elimination.
Speaker Eric Allen
Eric Allen has been in professional safety and health for over twenty years. Eric received his undergraduate degree from Madonna University in Occupational Safety Health and Fire Science. Eric received his master’s degree from Wayne State University in Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences. Eric works for The Christman Company as a Regional Safety Manager.
